NB body design — planning proportion and connection

NB Body Design

A body line is not reduced area by area — it is designed from structure, proportion and connection

Not a line. A dimension.

The abdomen, waist, pelvis, hip, thigh, arms and back do not move independently. We read your structure and proportion together with fat layer, skin elasticity and muscle development, then decide the design direction that fits you.

What is Body Design

At the same weight, the line still reads differently

Body design is not simply removing as much fat as possible. It is planning which area to reduce, which connecting zone to preserve and in which order to approach them, so that the whole silhouette reads naturally.

Body design connection concept — connection, not area
  • 01

    We read connection, not areas

The connection between adjacent zones — waist, pelvis, hip, thigh — decides the impression of the line.

  • 02

    Proportion and line before weight

Proportion and curve by area affect the whole silhouette more than a change in weight does.

  • 03

Fat, muscle and skin firmness read together

Fat-layer thickness, muscle development and skin firmness decide which direction is possible.

  • 04

    Natural connection before heavy removal

Over-correction makes a line look broken. We plan with connection first.

The moment the fit of clothes changes the impression of a line

The same clothes read differently because of connection, not weight.

Connection Map

A line is decided in the connecting zones

A good body line is not completed by thinning one area alone. The whole silhouette only reads stable when the upper body meets the waist, the pelvis meets the hip and the hip meets the thigh naturally.

Structure Assessment

What we check changes the design

Ultrasound is not performed uniformly in every case. We judge whether it is needed from your body type, previous surgery, likelihood of adhesion and tissue condition — and what it shows is carried into your individual surgical plan.

  • What we check

Thickness and distribution of the fat layer

What it changes in the plan

Which layer to reduce, how much, and what thickness to leave

  • What we check

Adhesion and fibrosis at previously operated sites

What it changes in the plan

The area is not approached like a first surgery; the extent is set again

  • What we check

    Degree of muscle development

What it changes in the plan

Where to reduce fat and where to preserve muscle contour

  • What we check

    Skin elasticity

What it changes in the plan

How much can be done at once, and whether to stage it

Whether and how far ultrasound is used is decided individually at consultation.

Programs

Body Revision

After a previous surgery, the body is a different starting point

Adhesion, irregularity and asymmetry left after liposuction are often not a matter of too little fat removed. We first read the tissue as it is now, then redesign around the structure that remains.

  1. 01

    Tissue as it changed

Where adhesion and fibrosis formed after the previous surgery, and in what pattern

  2. 02

    Adhesion, imbalance, line

We separate what was under-treated, what was over-treated, and where the line breaks

  3. 03

    Redesign from the present

Not the approach of a first surgery — the plan is built on the structure that is left

This is not a consultation about who was at fault in a previous surgery. It is about what is possible from where you are now.

In Daily Life

A planned line shows in daily life

Not the change right after surgery, but the balance of a line that reads naturally in your posture, your clothes and your movement — that is the result NB body design aims for.

Why NB Body Design

Before the visible line, we read the structure you cannot see

Not only surface thickness, but the fat layer, fibrosis, muscle development and skin firmness — we assess the invisible structure first. Even the same area calls for a different plan depending on its structure.

Before & After

Cases are not a promise of results — they are material for understanding design direction

Even for the same area, the design direction differs with body type and structure. Cases help you understand the reasoning behind a line, not guarantee an outcome.

Results may differ from person to person.

Consultation Process

A consultation is not a place to be sold surgery — it is where you come to understand your body

The five-step consultation focuses on organising the structure of your body and your priorities together, before deciding which procedure is possible.

NB body design consultation — ultrasound-based structural assessment

Step 01

Identifying the concern

We confirm the areas that bother you together with the impression you feel in daily life.

Step 02

Assessing physique, proportion and skin firmness

We read whole-body proportion, soft-tissue distribution and skin firmness together, and set the direction.

Step 03

Ultrasound analysis if needed

Fat-layer thickness, fibrosis and muscle development are assessed.

Step 04

Explaining the possible direction

We guide by the connection of the line, not by removal from one area.

Step 05

Surgical priority and recovery plan

Rather than pushing everything at once, we set priorities together with the stages and recovery in mind.

Not right after surgery — a line that reads naturally in everyday posture is the goal.

FAQ

Body design — frequently asked questions

Q. How is body design different from liposuction?

If liposuction is the procedure that removes fat, body design is the planning process that assesses how much to remove and from where, which connecting zone to preserve and in which order to approach them. The same volume removed can leave a different impression.

Q. Can several areas be done at once?

Reading several areas together can help the plan, but how much can be done in one session varies with your stamina, your capacity to recover and the size of the areas. At consultation we explain the priorities and a staged plan together.

Q. How is whole-body liposuction different from staged planning?

For some people it suits to do everything at once; for others it suits to divide it into stages. Which is more appropriate in terms of recovery, the naturalness of the line and safety is assessed at consultation.

Q. Do the hip line and thighs have to be read together?

Reducing only the abdomen or only the thighs can look unnatural, because the connection with the surrounding line no longer matches. We therefore recommend assessing adjacent zones together, though what is possible and how far varies with your condition.

Q. Can I consult about an uneven line after previous liposuction?

Revision cases such as adhesion, fibrosis, depression and asymmetry can also be consulted on. The body re-design and adhesion reset pages carry more detail.

Q. Is ultrasound always used at consultation?

Not everyone needs it. We carry out ultrasound assessment when the fat-layer thickness is unclear, in revision cases, or when the cause of a line imbalance is not evident.

NB Body Design

Start with the order and direction that suit your body

A good body line starts from the balance of the whole connection rather than the change of one area. NB Plastic Surgery reads the structure of your body first, and plans the priority of the changes you need with you.
