Using ultrasound, we check the fat layers, skin elasticity, laxity below the jawline, and the face-to-neck transition together, distinguishing the weight to reduce from the volume to preserve for a result that is not overdone. The same doctor is with you from consultation through surgery.

Facial Liposuction FAQ
Q.Is there also a lifting effect after facial liposuction?
Yes. As fat is removed, the skin re-adheres and there can be a slight lifting effect. However, if sagging is present, we recommend combining it with FaceTite or a lift.
Q.How long does swelling last?
Most early swelling subsides within 1–2 weeks, and the final result is seen after 4–6 weeks. Individual results may vary.
Q.Will there be scars?
Incisions are made behind the ear or along a natural crease under the chin at a minimal size (2–3 mm), so scarring is hardly noticeable.
Q.What kind of anesthesia is used?
It is performed under sedation or local anesthesia, decided according to each person's treatment extent and condition.
Q.Is revision possible?
If residual fat remains or the result differs from the goal, a revision procedure is possible. Setting clear goals during consultation is important.
Q.Can the skin sag after facial liposuction?
With sufficient skin elasticity, the skin re-drapes naturally after fat removal. However, if laxity below the jawline is present, we also assess the potential for skin contraction and, if needed, advise combining tightening such as FaceTite.
Q.When is FaceTite considered as well?
It is considered as a complement when reduced skin elasticity is more prominent than fat volume, or when the skin is unlikely to re-drape after fat removal. It is not necessary for everyone and is not combined by default.
