The bother of repeated shaving and waxing

Empathy

Managing hair as it grows takes time and repeats the irritation to your skin. Laser hair removal acts selectively on the follicle, aiming to reduce how often you have to manage it. The effect and the number of sessions needed can vary with hair type and skin type.

How the laser acts selectively on the follicle

How It Works

A laser that acts selectively on the follicle

Laser energy is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and acts selectively on follicles in the growth phase. Cooling is applied alongside, designed to lower irritation to the epidermis and pain. It has to be repeated over several sessions in step with the follicle growth cycle before a reduction in hair can be expected.

An easier everyday life after laser hair removal

Everyday

Giving back the time you spent on upkeep

As the frequency of hair removal drops, morning routines and seasonal upkeep become lighter. We plan the sessions needed according to the area and your goal. Results vary from person to person, so we confirm them together in consultation.

Process

The procedure

01

Skin and hair assessment

We check hair colour and thickness and skin type, and set a suitable wavelength and output.

02

Shaving (on the day or the day before)

Surface hair is shaved so the energy reaches the follicle accurately.

03

Applying cooling

Cooling gel is applied before treatment, designed to lower pain and skin irritation.

04

Laser hair removal

Treatment proceeds in Coolview mode with the output adjusted by area.

05

Calming finish

Calming care after treatment lowers the skin temperature. You can return to daily life the same day.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Q.Does laser hair removal remove hair completely?

Because it acts selectively only on follicles in the growth phase, 5–8 or more sessions are needed before a reduction of 80–90% or more can be expected. Fine vellus hair and light-coloured hair can need more sessions.

Q.How much does it hurt?

It varies from person to person, but many describe it as "like being flicked with a rubber band". We lower the burden of pain with reinforced cooling and adjusted output, and use topical anaesthetic cream alongside on sensitive areas.

Q.What is the interval between sessions?

Depending on the area, 4–8 weeks is the basis. Setting the interval in step with the follicle growth cycle makes it more efficient.

Q.Are there precautions after treatment?

On the day, please avoid saunas, swimming and UV exposure. Applying sunscreen (SPF 50+) diligently is important. Normal washing and showering are possible after 24–48 hours.

Q.Can I have it while pregnant or during my period?

It is not recommended during pregnancy. During your period, some areas (bikini, abdomen) can be sensitive, so we recommend adjusting the schedule.
