Fat Dissolving Injection FAQ
Liposuction is a surgical procedure that physically removes fat cells with a cannula, while fat dissolving injections chemically break down fat cells non-surgically. Liposuction removes more fat in a single session, but injections offer faster recovery without anaesthesia. The appropriate method depends on the amount and location of fat.
Yes, treating the face (double chin, cheeks) and body (abdomen, thighs) on the same day is possible. However, treating large areas at once can increase swelling and discomfort, so we may recommend treating priority areas first and progressing to others after recovery.
The number of sessions depends on the volume and location of fat. Typically 3–5 sessions at 2–4 week intervals are recommended. Results appear gradually over 2–4 weeks per session, so adequate intervals are important. We provide an individualised plan at consultation.
After the procedure, with you when needed
Petit procedures do not include a separate aftercare program; if swelling care is needed after the procedure, it is offered at 50% of the cost.
