FaceThermi uses RF thermal energy to stimulate dermal collagen, providing improved skin elasticity, fine line reduction, and subtle lifting. Immediate tightening is visible, with continued collagen regeneration improving the skin progressively over several months. The mechanism is similar to Ulthera and Thermage, with differences depending on the device and frequency characteristics.
A warm heat sensation is felt during treatment; some sensitive individuals may feel a pricking sensation. Discomfort varies by individual, and a topical anaesthetic cream can be applied to reduce it. Mild redness may appear after treatment but typically settles within a few hours.
FaceThermi results typically last 6 months to 1 year. Collagen regeneration continues for up to 3–6 months post-treatment. Regular maintenance sessions (every 6–12 months) help sustain the effect; duration varies based on skin condition and lifestyle.
