Q. What is the difference between dermotoxin and ordinary botox?
Ordinary botox acts on muscle, while dermotoxin is administered into the skin layer to improve the skin. At NB we add vector lifting technique on top, so a lifting effect is designed as well.
Q. How long does masseter botox last?
It usually lasts 4–6 months. With repeated treatment the masseter gradually reduces, so the effect lasts longer.
Q. What changes are possible with nose botox?
Improvement is possible where strong nasal dilator muscles widen the nostrils, or where a strong depressor septi muscle pulls the nasal tip down when you smile.
Q. Will shoulder movement be affected after trapezius botox?
Everyday shoulder movement is not affected. Only the muscle volume reduces.
Q. Which areas can be treated with hyperhidrosis botox?
The underarms, palms and soles, among others. The effect lasts 6–12 months.
Q. For a hollow glabella, do filler and botox have to be done together?
Where the glabella is deeply hollow, combining botox with filler is effective. Combining it with fat grafting gives a more natural result that lasts longer.
Q. Can I return to daily life right after the procedure?
Most people can return to daily life the same day. We recommend not lying down for 4 hours after the procedure.
Q. What matters most for botox that does not look stiff?
Dose alone does not decide it. The same amount changes expression differently depending on which muscle it enters and at what depth. NB first reads the position and strength of the muscles that build expression, then divides the placement so only what is needed goes where it is needed.
