BACK LINE PLANNING
Even the same back-fat concern can call for a different design depending on the fold above and below the bra line, the scapular area, the front and back of the axilla, and the state of the rear-arm connection.
The bra line is read as an upper fold and a lower fold separately, but connected into the flow of the whole back line. Rather than sheer removal volume, we consider the back-view silhouette seen through thin knits, blouses, sleeveless tops and dress fits; and the surgical plan can differ with the individual fat layer, muscle mass, back and scapular structure, and skin firmness.

BACK LINE MAP
The bra line and back fat are not decided by the fat volume of one area alone. The fold above and below the bra line, the scapular area, and the rear-flank/side-flank connection are each assessed separately — while the upper-back flow that continues to the front and back of the axilla and the rear arm must be read together.
Upper Back 4 Zones
01
The area that creates the line folding above the bra and the sense of width across the upper back.
02
The line pressed or overlapped below the bra, related to an impression of a dull back view.
03
Volume around the scapula and skin firmness can affect the smoothness of the central back line.
04
If the lower-back and side-flank connection remains, the back-view silhouette continuing to the waist can look heavy.
Axilla · Accessory Breast Connections
01
Volume at the front of the axilla and around the accessory breast can be why the upper body looks dull in sleeveless and cutaway tops.
02
Volume at the back of the axilla can make the space between the rear arm and the bra line look thick.
03
If the rear arm and the bra line look continuous, reducing the arm alone can still leave the upper back looking wide and heavy.
The actual design and whether procedures are combined can differ with the individual fat layer, muscle mass, skin firmness, axillary structure, and any adhesion after prior surgery.

BODY DESIGN FINDER
Concerns about the fold above and below the bra line, volume around the scapula, front and back axillary fat, accessory breast, and the rear-arm connection may each need a different design. Before your consultation, you can first sort out which type your concern belongs to.
The online check is not a definitive medical diagnosis but a guide tool for sorting out your own upper-back concern type before a consultation.

Back Analysis
Three-dimensional back-line analysis
We analyse the bra line, the centre of the back, and the arm-axilla connection together. Rather than looking at one part, we design against the fat distribution of the whole back.
02
Layer-by-Layer
Layer-by-layer precision design
The back's fat layer must be tidied shallowly and precisely. We analyse the fat layer just beneath the skin layer by layer to create a natural, orderly back line.
03
Arm-Back Connection
Arm-to-back connection design
We design the connecting area running from the axilla and inner arm into the back together. Removing only one part can make the connection look awkward.
04
Scar Minimal
Minimal incision
We minimise the incision location and design so no trace remains. Placing the incision point inside the bra line keeps the result easy to check.

CASE REVIEW
The fold above and below the bra line, upper-back volume, front and back axillary fat, accessory breast, and the rear-arm connection may look similar on the surface yet need a different approach. Referring to cases with similar concerns can help you make your own direction more concrete before a consultation.
Cases are not material to guarantee a result, but reference material for understanding upper-back types and design directions. The actual plan can differ after consultation and assessment.

RECOVERY & CARE
The bra line, back line, axilla and the area around the accessory breast are areas of much movement and friction, so post-surgery swelling care, compression, radiofrequency aftercare and activity adjustment should be considered together.
01
To stabilise the bra line and back line and manage swelling, wearing an upper-body compression garment for the advised period may be needed.
02
The back and around the axilla can show early swelling and bruising, and the swelling may appear to move downward or to the side.
03
A radiofrequency and similar aftercare programme may be used alongside to help tissue recovery and ease firmness.
04
Movements that raise the arm high, upper-body exercise and strong stretching are best adjusted in stages while watching your recovery.
05
How quickly and in what way the line settles can differ with skin firmness, sagging, cellulite, and any existing adhesion.
06
The recovery process and the final line vary by individual with the fat layer, muscle mass, axillary structure and the extent of surgery.
The following is general recovery guidance; the actual care plan can differ with the extent of surgery and your individual recovery.
FAQ
The bra line, back line, axilla and the area around the accessory breast can call for a different approach depending on the individual fat layer and tissue state, so it is important to check the scope and limits together before a consultation.
The bra line is read around the line overlapping above and below the underwear, while back liposuction can be assessed more widely — the upper back, around the scapula, and the rear-flank/side-flank connection. The actual scope is set after checking the fat layer, skin firmness and body structure.
The front and back axillary volume and the tissue around the accessory breast connect to the rear arm and the bra line and can affect the impression of a wider upper back. That said, whether it is accessory breast and the nature of the tissue need to be distinguished after examination.
The rear arm, the back of the axilla and the bra line can look connected, so reducing the arm alone can still leave the upper back looking thick in some cases. In that case, assessing the connection line together can help.
Rather than sheer removal volume, the thickness of the fat layer, skin firmness, scapular structure and any sagging must be considered. Excessive removal can create unevenness or sagging, so setting a scope suited to your individual state is important.
Where there is reduced skin firmness, sagging, existing adhesion or fibrosis, whether to combine tightening can be considered. It is not needed in every case and is decided after consultation and assessment.
The bra line, back line and around the axilla are areas of much movement and friction, so swelling, bruising and firmness can occur, and a compression garment or aftercare may be needed for the advised period. The pace of recovery and the care plan can differ with the extent of surgery and your individual recovery.
The plan and recovery pattern can differ with the individual fat layer, muscle mass, skin firmness and any adhesion. The actual surgical scope and whether procedures are combined are decided after consultation and assessment, and online information is general guidance that does not replace examination.

Basic aftercare is provided as a standard programme of 12 sessions in total — 4 swelling-care, 4 radiofrequency, 2 scar-laser and 2 meso-injection sessions. Actual scheduling and completion may vary depending on your ability to attend.
If care is needed beyond the basic aftercare, NB surgery patients receive a 50% discount on the standard price.
