Liposuction inserts a fine cannula beneath the skin to physically remove fat cells. Because removed fat cells do not regenerate, the results are semi-permanent. However, the remaining fat cells can still enlarge with weight gain — which is why post-surgical body management matters.

VASER (Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance) uses specific ultrasonic frequencies to selectively break the bonds between fat cells, emulsifying them for easier removal while relatively protecting vessels, nerves and connective tissue. Reduced bruising and a shorter recovery period are key advantages. VASER is NB's primary modality for most treatment zones.

Laser energy dissolves fat cells while simultaneously stimulating dermal collagen production, delivering the strongest skin-tightening effect among the three techniques. It is used complementarily in areas where skin contraction is important — such as post-partum abdomens or areas with reduced elasticity.

The mechanical technique uses a rapidly vibrating cannula to physically disrupt fat. It excels at precise contouring in delicate zones such as the abs or inner thigh. NB's standard approach is VASER emulsification followed by mechanical sculpting rather than relying on either alone.

NB does not depend on a single modality. Depending on the zone's fat characteristics, skin elasticity and target silhouette, we combine VASER + mechanical or VASER + laser. Pre-operative ultrasound mapping confirms fat depth and distribution before selecting the optimal technique for each area.
